A Family Education Practice

Hi, I’m Sarah!

I hold a deep reverence for all children and their inherent intelligence, creativity, and joy. I recognise a chider’s inherent dignity, their intense curiosity and the unique way they experience the world. When we connect with our children we connect with them, we connect with ourselves in a transformative way.

This conviction has led me to work as a professional educator for 15+ years across classroom teaching and program administration, international education and student travel programming, and project-based learning and outdoor education.

I have taken my passion for culture, child development, and education seriously and pursued the highest level of academic excellence through my doctoral research at Columbia University, where I am a trained cultural anthropologist.

Only when I became a mother to two young boys did I realise I couldn't be the mom I wanted to be and the teacher I wanted to be at the same time. So I left classroom service to be more present with my young family and start my own practice, where I continue to live out my educational philosophy.
